This site is a tribute to Albert, a much loved husband, father and grandpa. He will always be in our thoughts and remembered forever.
Thank you for all of your donations, they really are appreciated. Albert was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis 10 years ago, despite receiving such a devastating diagnosis he bravely managed the illness incredibly well for the majority of the time. He remained positive and was determined to continue living life to the full. It was only earlier this year that sadly PF became incredibly debilitating for him. Having seen the effect of this terrible illness we chose this charity to support in his memory as it's aim is to provide personal support to people affected by PF, whether practical, emotional or financial. They also raise awareness of the illness and in particular the challenges people face on a daily basis. The Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust was founded by patients who experienced a lack of information and support upon their own diagnosis, and therefore, wanted to support others through this process. Thank you again.
Our family will always fondly remember Albert. He was our dear neighbour, friend and good natured neighbourhood provocateur for fifty years. All our love Paul, Sue, James and Tom Bing. X
Thank you Alberto, for the brilliant memories we can cherish, and that will continue to make us smile. Holidays shared, biking the lanes, listening to your limericks and jokes. Evenings of laughter, walking in woods getting lost. So many to choose. Always our dear friend, neighbour, partner in crime.
In memory of our dear friend Albert Oldbury.
